WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
This event based in the Peak District aims to prepare you for upcoming ML or HML assessment following your training course and during your consolidation period. It will also act as an update current award holders . The programme is flexible based on the needs of the participants. and is outdoor based. EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
Usual hill kit for a day on the Bleaklow/Kinder Scout plateau in the Dark Peak. Participants are encouraged to bring their own rope/emergency kit and group equipment to discuss, A Dark Peak OS map 1:25000 is useful but maps can be provided. Compass and food for the day required. |
WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS
Phil is a WMCI and has been an ML Course Director since 1995 and WGL/HML Course Director since the awards were started. He is a honorary member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors having been Chair from 2019 – 2022. He loves teaching/sharing mountain skills and knowledge at all levels, and was head of a local outdoor education centre for over 20 years. |

This course will run with 3 or more participants. Full refund in the event of not enough applications by 24 August 2022. |
