Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.
About
Climbing Wall Instructor Assessment
The course will be directed by Dave Brown of AcwaTerra, experienced Mountaineering Instructor (MIC) and course director with over 25 years experience training Mountain Leaders and Climbing Instructors.
As a candidate, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate that you have the experience, skills and knowledge to provide safe, enjoyable sessions to students and clients in the climbing wall environment.
The course is non-residential leaving you to choose your own standard of accommodation if required.
