WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
This workshop will show you how to identify tree species, interesting features to recognise, basic tree physiology and ecology and how different parts of different trees have a variety of uses, both old and new. A chance to know your oak from your alder, your beech from your birch and plenty more in between!
Ideal for members with both walking and climbing qualifications and in particular lowland leaders.
All attendees will be given post course handouts supporting the days learning to use for future reference.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
Please come prepped for a day in any weather, suitable footwear, waterproofs, notepad/pencil
Camera or phone, lunch, money for car parks, anything else you think you need.
