This workshop will look at the practical skills of approaching a winter climb, when to short rope and transitioning to parallel or in series climbing.

Hopefully we will have some snow but if not this can still be done in big boots on an easy multi-pitch rock climb.

It will also be a chance to refresh our knowledge of the avalanche awareness guidelines to consider during the planning, journeying and at key places on a day out winter climbing.
