Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.
About
The Climbing Wall Instructor training course is a fantastic 2 days spent with day 1 at the Beacon Climbing Centre and day 2 at Indy Climbing Wall.
To attend the course you'll need to be registered for the Climbing Wall Instructor scheme with Mountain Training and have the following climbing experience before attending the training course:
- 15 climbing wall sessions
- Min 10 f4 or above lead climbs

There is an optional Abseil Module which runs after the first day into early eve (2hrs) and is an additional cost of £30.
