WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

Night Nav focusing on 6Ds-Destination, Direction, Distance, Duration, Description and Dangers. Night conditions to simulate poor visibility conditions. Goal to help confidence with navigation for all walking awards-Lowland leader to Mountain Leader trainees and award holders. Peer led workshop along a pre planned route which will be looking at contours/micro nav due to the geography of the location. Meet 6.30-45pm

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED-Head torch, compass, 1 to 25inch 130 map (don't worry if don't have-we will have print offs) and appropriate kit/clothing for a Winter night out.

Nav/pacing beads we will have for you, plus hopefully some MTA merch.
