Winter Climbing

Summary

Much of my winter climbing has involved the development of my mountaineering skills on short routes in the Lake District in venues such as Brown Cove Crags, St Sunday Crag and Cambridge Crags. Cumbrian highlights are Raven Crag Gully and Cautley Spout during the Beast from the East. In the last few years I have spent more time winter climbing in Scotland, climbing on Aonach Mor, Ben Nevis, Bidean Nan Bian, Buchaille Etive Mor, Coire an Sneachda, Coire an Lochan, Liathach, Cha No and others. Highlights from this winter season include Tower Ridge, Comb Gully and the Message.
