I have delivered climbing sessions at the Beacon Climbing Centre since 2016 as a CWI award holder. Previous to that I used my award at Brynteg Holiday Park in Caernarfon where I was the lead instructor at the small wall onsite, erected by the Beacon. My duties included PPE inspection and assisting with in-house staff training as delivered by Leo Nathan. I mainly ran sessions for children aged 5+ on the bouldering walls and played games on the climbing wall.

I have been an avid climber for many years now and have climbed indoors and outdoors on equal occasions, spending many winter months working and climbing at the Beacon. In 2019 I completed my CWDI training with Andy Newton and began my assisting and supervising of leading sessions with qualified staff at the Beacon Climbing centre. I am currently signed off and able to deliver leading sessions for introductory courses and NICAS young leaders, of which I have delivered over 40 of such sessions.
