The Glasgow South and Ayrshire area offers climbing both on quarried dolerite at Neilston, and also on the natural crags of The Quadrocks and Loudoun Hill. The sandstone cliffs of the Mauchline Gorge have a certain esoteric charm, but they are not for the faint hearted!
Evening climbing session with a group from local youth project. Venue was pretty busy, so we stayed off the better routes and did some introductory climbing on the easy stuff at the left of the crag.
