Description

Set up a bottom rope system for two friends to use. Taught then how to climb and explained the differences between indoor and outdoor climbing both were taught how to belay and both tried climbing and belaying each other.

Area : Lowland Outcrops: Glasgow South and Ayrshire

The Glasgow South and Ayrshire area offers climbing both on quarried dolerite at Neilston, and also on the natural crags of The Quadrocks and Loudoun Hill. The sandstone cliffs of the Mauchline Gorge have a certain esoteric charm, but they are not for the faint hearted!
