Wind was gusting between 30 - 50mph on the tops and visibility was exceptionally poor. Navigition as a result was very tricky and we had to keep the group together and progress was very slow. Ice axes and crampons were required for pretty much the whole route apart from the final walk into Llanberis. (however we didn't go as far as wearing crampons in the Ogwen car park as some people were!)
