09.00 - 16.15, 15km, 690m. Habkern, Thunersee, Swiss Alps.
Broken cloud base above 2500m. Nicky, Matthew, Ellen and I. Roteschwand, Feldmoos, Winterroschthutte, Lager, ridge to 1738m, south ridge to Hohgant, then east to summit. A fantastic walk away from the crowds of the Jungfrau. First time having the scent of orchids wafting up the hill, there were so many. A small herd of goats on the summit. An unspoilt area to revisit.
