6km, 720m. Great Langdale, Lake District.
Cloud base 650m, wind moderate, cold in mist. Nicky, Matthew (10 months old) and I. New Dungeon Ghyll, Stickle Tarn, Jack’s Rake, Pavey Ark, Harrison Stickle, descent via Dungeon Ghyll. A short day on the fells with Nicky and Matthew in the backpack.

Area : Southern Fells (Scafell Pike)

From the Esk Valley all the way across to Kendal and the M6. Includes Coniston area as far north as Little Langdale, Wrynose and Hardknott Pass.
