Description

14.30 - 18.30, 3.5km, 615m. Ogwen Valley, North Wales.
Cloud base about 900m. Milestone lay-by, Milestone Buttress - Direct Route, Heather Terrace, First Pinnacle Rib, Tryfan, Bwlch Tryfan, Heather Terrace, Milestone lay-by. Climbed in lightweight, sloppy boots with rucsac! Rock wet and slippery in places. Met a woman looking for the Heather Terrace so we returned that way. Even though they are technically rock climbs I`ve recorded them in the spirit they were climbed!

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
