16.7km, 1170m. Ambleside, Lake District.
Broken cloud and sunshine in early morning, deteriorating to white out conditions by late morning on Hart Crag. Cloud base reached at 1800ft. temperature falling to freezing. Ambleside YH, Low Pike, High Pike, Dove Crag, Hart Crag, Fairfield, St. Sunday Crag, Birks, Patterdale YH.

From the Kirkstone Pass to the M6.
