Introduced a new climber into the basics such as putting a harness on, tieing in and belaying/lowering safely. After I taught basic skills I left them with a competent pair of climbers to help them gain confidence with people at their grade. Once that was done I managed to bag a 5+ and a 6a on lead. 6a was overhang with increasing steepness dogged it and fell 10-15 times to help build my confidence on falling rather than taking. Breezed the 5+ on the overhang with 1 fall to demonstrate a lead fall to new lead climbers and the risks of clipping high and introducing slack. Finished the session off with a few boulder problems as well as working a V5 and falling on the last move.
