
Two day trip around mid-summer.
Day 1(Mist, Clag Light rain, then improving picture (All tops clear by 18:00): Parked on north side of dam at east end of loch Mullardoch: Followed path west on north of loch then north by Alt Mullardoch (some new hill tracks for hydro scheme) waled East over the munros to An Socach. It was a bit misty and have to walk on a number of bearings.
From summit of An Socach took a bearing for the flat area in GR:087322, dropped out of the cloud an saw the attack point in front of us Walked over Meall Shuas then south to the west end of loch Mullardoch. Stopped here and cooked dinner. Climbed south by the Allt Cam and found a bivy spot for the night.
Day 2: (Beautiful sunny day )Early start, breakfast, packed up and then walked south over the munros to Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan, walked east and then north east to Mam Sodhail, north to Ben Fhionnlaidh then south to Carn Eig. Walked east over the munros to the final summit of Toll Creagach, went east from the summit to the belach GR:210282 then north east over pathless terrain back to the dam.

Glen Affric and Kintail
South of Loch Mullardoch you will find the Glen Affric and Kintail area whose southern boundary is the A87 road to Inverness. The Five Sisters of Kintail, Beinn Fhada, Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan and Carn Eighe are just some of the impressive peaks in this area, and all have their own unique selling points such as remoteness, size, steepness or height. As a result, peaks in the list are all over 900m.
