I instructed the Geckos 1 NICAS session every saturday morning for this 12 month period. These sessions are for children aged 7-10 and usually consist of 6-12 participants. The climbers in this group are normally working towards NICAS levels 1 & 2. Normally a bouldering based warm up is completed before splitting into groups to begin roped climbing. Each session is specifically geared towards providing/refreshing the climbers with the information required to complete assessment objectives in their log books.
