Geckos 3/Young climber club. Lead climbing is the main focus of these sessions. The ages of participants range between 14-18. NICAS level 3 is the session prerequisite. Normally consists of 4-12 participants. Climbers on this session progress through a number of activities honing their lead climbing. The exact pathway/time frame varies but most will complete bouldering based clipping practice, top rope based clipping practice, top rope based slack management activities and ghost/mock leading before finally live leading.
