Description

19km, 1070m. 08.30 - 17.00. Black mount, Western Highlands.
Victoria Bridge car park, Clashgour Farm, stalkers path to Màm nan Sac, Stob a' Breach Leith, Sron a Gherkin, Stob Ghabhar, Aonach Eagach, Stob Maol, Clashgour Hut, car park.
A fab day out with Mick, Matt and James from Reaseheath. Great views. We drove up on the Friday to Crianlarich YH, got there at 11pm. Big warm front coming in Saturday afternoon and evening, so we rested on out laurels and had a leisurely drive home on Suday. Managed to leave my waterproof behind at the YH, good job the weather held out until the evening!

Area : Glen Etive to Glen Lochy

This is the area south of Buachaille Etive Mor as far as the A85 (Tyndrum to Oban road). It includes the peaks around the Glencoe Ski Centre (Creise and Meall a’Bhuiridh) alongside eleven other Munros and many other peaks above 600m. Highlights such as Ben Cruachan (1126m) and Stob Ghabhar (1090) remind all-comers that this is an area of high mountains and low glens.
