Description

Spent most of this day off piste, practising relocation skills - Parked just off the single track road to the north west of cnicht and headed into the hills via the bath at hafodydd Brithion working our way up to a sheep fold. Left the path here and traversed to join the path to LLyn yr Adar from there we traversed up the north east ridge of cnicht and then reversed back down to join the path back to the road. Conditions wee great apart from a strong (30mph) wind on the summit

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
