Continuation of TMB Highlights. Taking account of the capabilities of the party I opted for the route over Alp Bovine. From Les Champex the TMB passes through forest steadily climbing up the hill side to open meadows and the farm at Alp Bovine 1982m. Easy walking through meadows and woods to the Col de la Forclaz 1526m. Then a drop down into the Trient Valley and accommodation in Le Gilliod.
