Description

Another day on 1:50 this time in horrific cloud. Vis was 60-100m and I had an utter mare of a day. I nearly lost the plot and just came off the hill. Not the easiest ground to Nav on a 1:50 with the vis so low. It did help improve my nav though so I had to walk away thankful for that. I messed up a few times but seemed to realise and get myself back on track. I was pretty glad to walk off the hill that day.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
