Description

After untypical hot sunshine on the west coast of Scotland,I decided to do a little scrambling on the Cullin Ridge. As I often do I tried to include some family time also. So a trip up into Glen Brittle, and visitthe fairy pools seemed like a perfect plan. yes, you guessed it, when we got there the weather changed and it became very wet! So decided to give it a shot, and if it became to silly, then I would give up. Starting at the youth Hostel the route took me up to An Dorus, where I met some people doing some rope work under the instruction of a guide/instructor. At the the top of the gully I turned left and in VERY bad visibilty and driving rain, summited the top of Sgurr A Mhadaidh, then dropped off back to An Dorus before the slightly longer climb to Sgurr A Ghreadaidh.
