Description

Area : Cadair Idris, The Arans, Barmouth, Dolgellau and Craig Rhiwarth

This is a varied Area including the gentle Barmouth Slabs and other crags along the coast (e.g. Cae Du) and in the Dolgellau area, but also the major mountain crags of Cadair Idris just to the South, and the Arans further North-East (notably Craig Cywarch). Basically the southern-most part of the Snowdonia National Park lying South and East of the A496 and A494, but it also includes the outlying Craig Rhiwarth further East.
