The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
Led second (5b) pitch. Rather tricky step out from the belay, but easier afterwards. Abseil descent.
