Description

Working with Falkirk Community Trust, working alongside John Jackson and Craig McLaren - all day session with group of 5 adults. Rigged routes for bottom roping, supervised groups climbing and belaying, coaching on movement and technique.
Useful discussion later about whether Traprain would be classed as an 'SPA' crag, due to the difficulties with group management at the top of the crag.

Area : Lowland Outcrops: East Lothian

Lowland Outcrops: East Lothian includes the trad climbing on the outcrops east of Edinburgh as described in the SMC Lowland Outcrops guidebook, the most popular of which is Traprain Law. The sport climbs of North Berwick Law should be entered in the Sport climbing section of DLOG.
