
Day 1 - Very wet, freezing level above the tops. 12km walk in from Inverie to Barasdale Bothy.
Day 2 - Wet and windy. Attempt at Ladhar Bheinn. Approach up NE ridge teaching use of axe to move safely to find scramble onto Stob A`Chearcaill unfrozen and too steep for team. Second attempt to gain summit ridge from East ridge aborted as ground in similar condition.
Day 3 - Luinne Beinn and Meal Buidhe loop back to Inverie. 8h day. Overnight snow down to 500m, poor vis above 800m and a changing avalance situation with an NE wind loading SW aspect slopes. Careful route finding to avoid windslab patches.

Loch Eil to Glen Shiel
The Great Glen to the east, the A87 to the north and the A830 to the south separate this area from its surroundings and enclose an area of high mountains and low glens. The highest mountain is Sgurr na Ciche (1040m) and further north the South Glen Shiel Ridge is formed by a whopping seven Munros! Also in the area is The Saddle (1010m) which is home to the classic Forcan Ridge. Peaks in the mountains list are all above 900m.
