me and Jason group leaders and 2 beginners
great winter day out
we were going to climb bristly ridge to introduce ash n sara to scrambling
but when we arrived it was covered in hoar frost and wasnt good for the novices in our group(we had all correct equip to attempt a winter climb)
we walked around to the south east gully which was beautifully full of snow and climbed this with no problems at all.. (a great introduction to winter mountaineering)
we summited easily and returned to Idwal cottage via the devils kitchen.
