Description

Possibly should be in winter logbook as loads of snow [some deep drifts] and never got above freezing, but no axes or crampons carried.
Belper to Cromford along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, then Joining Mid-shires way to Cromford,
half the group abandoned to the delights of Tea-shops and the train back, the survivors continued ;
past Station then steeply up to Hearthstone Lane [deep drifted snow]
along lanes until possible to go over High Tor then through park to Station .
