I went for a recreational holiday away to walk in the lake district and this day, in particular, was very cold, I originally planned the week before to go mountain walking on this day, although weather conditions made it a great day to practice navigation skills for the lowland leader award. I mainly walked around and near Ullwater lake and made use of all well marked paths in the nearby area.
