12.3km, 1220m. Ben Lomond.
Having driven up from Cheshire that morning it was a late start. Weather was okay to begin with but deteriorated to drizzle and rain on the way down and a bit of clag on the summit.
Rowardennan car park (15.00), tourist route up through the forest and onto the summit (17.00) via the south-east ridge. Continue anticlockwise and descended via Ptarmigan, much nicer path, back to the car park (18.35). Then drove over to the head of Loch Awe, and slept in the van ready for the next day.
