Includes crags South of the A5 through the Ogwen Valley. Popular crags and routes include: Idwal Slabs (Tennis Shoe HS 4b), Tryfan Bach (Little Tryfan Arete Mod), East Face Of Tryfan (Grooved Arete HVD). Please note that Carreg Mianog and Amphitheatre Buttress (Craig yr Ysfa) are within the 'Carneddau' area.
Had a few moves which were not as easy as they looked. Worked hard to find gear at times. Got sucked into a crack when it trended left. Far too much grass and heather. Book gave it a Severe grade, on here it said Mod - definitely not Mod hence why I changed the grade as per the Ogwen guide book.
