
Welsh 3000s Day 1. Working with other MLs leading 10 novice adults. PYP to Crib Goch via e-Ridge, to Carnedd Ugain to Snowdon descent via Cwm N of Llechog to Nant Peris. Break. Path up N side of Cwm Dudodyn to Elidir Fawr to Y Garn to Glyder Fawr to Glyder Fach to Bwlch Tryfan to Ogwen Cottage. Weather started well, fantastic Inversion on Crib Goch. Deteriorated badly by summit of Elidir Fawr to hill fog, wind and rain. Cleared on Glyders but decided to miss Tryfan due to timeings, weather and potential of conditions detiorating again. Some clients struggling with knees etc.

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
