Parked at Llyn Ogwen and walked up to Llyn Idwal. Climbed Y Garn and then round to Glyder Fawr. Visibility was poor but became worse during the day, 20/30m at most on summit of Glyder Fawr. After reaching the summit of Glyder Fawr we took the decision that carrying on further was not the best idea in the weather so we retraced our steps and descended by the Devils Kitchen down to Llyn Idwal and back to the car.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
