26a. Ingleborough Cave, Gaping Gill (7km): Weather: Dry, Cloud. Wind: 0-10mph. Group: Me, Ruth, Emma (9yo). Visited Ingleborough Cave, then went down into Gaping Gill: the Bradford Pot Holing Club set up a cage lift every spring bank holiday! Returned via Trow Gill.

Most of the larger southern dales (e.g. Ribblesdale, Malhamdale and Airedale, Wharfedale and Nidderdale) run roughly parallel from north to south. Includes the Three Peaks, Malham and Langstrothdale/Wharfdale.
