A fantastic day of ridge walking with a well chosen and timed route. An early planning meeting with a McCafé Coffee and Hot Chocolate lead to a timely ascent through an inversion, shrouding Glen Nevis until the snow-line at 850m where we were met by glorious sun. After whipping on the crampons to assist with the crusted snow above 900m we were rewarded for our summit choice by stunning views from the only cloud-less peak in sight. A fun scramble on Devil's Ridge and accent to Sgor an Lubhair for lunch and sunbathing/burning in a fabulously photogenic sunlight. We were rewarded for our excursion by views as far as Schiehallion and Jura. Peered at South Gully on Stob Bàn we concluded there not be enough snow to make a feasible ascent so continued to the summit on the mountain path before a returning to Lower Falls carpark.
