Started walking around lunch time with the aim to get to the top of mount keen before the sun set but also to practice walking and navigating in the dark and getting more comfortable being outdoors at night. the weather was partially cloudy to start with but turned overcast at time. There were very strong winds upon approaching mount keen and it felt very cold. At the top I changed my top with a warm layer and a warm jacket and warmed up with hot tea from my flask. the terrain was very uneven and I had to be careful where I placed my feet to not go over my ankles with happened a few times despites using walking poles. I mad a minor mistake navigating but reassessed and got back on track after consulting my map. Overall a good day in the hills
