Description

Supervising top and bottom roping in the morning. Observing an MIA teaching trad leading in the afternoon.
I was surprised he didn't get them on a top rope backup to start with. Instead he jugged up the rope next to them, checking their placements and ready to clip himself to them if they needed it. I guess that he knew I was keeping an eye on the belayer and knew the leader had confidence and could climb the route easily.

Area : Gwent (except Monmouth), Glamorgan and The Brecon Beacons

This area includes the weathered limestone sea cliffs around Bridgend (Ogmor and Witches Point crags), as well as the inland limestone and sandstone areas surrounding Merthyr Tydfil and Abergavenny near Cardiff. Morlais Quarry, Dinas Rock and Trebanog are also included. It does not include The Gower.
