Winter QMD with my friend who is an experienced hill walker. The weather was cold and sunny, Very cold and moderately windy at the top. The underfoot conditions were varied. Some areas with lots of snow and ice and some areas with less cover. The climb on the second munro was challenging and I had to scramble to get to the top. A supporting rope would have been useful at the the time. The descent from the second muncro was very steep and icey so we took our time and if possible walked off the path due to the black ice and have more under foot grip. We didn't use crampons due to the mixed underfoot conditions. Rocks were still visible in many places. Again micro spikes would have been useful,
