Took cousin Rueben (7) and Eliza (5) climbing at granite planet. Was really fun both Reuben and Eliza joined in on all routes, Reuben especially wanted to try and do harder ones so found a 5+ for him to have a go at which include a overhang and double handed jug. Tried three times and then I told him to try with different feet placements, using feet more than hands which allowed him to reach higher and make the final two movements for him to finish it. Was some brilliant climbing and great to see the little man noms top trying. He did the same route 7/8 times completing it only using the one grade and colour 3 times.
After I showed him how to belay using V-Knee-1-2-3 (didn't get him to belay me as...hes 7...) and went into the bouldering area with both, they played around and asked to be set challenges, they traversed bouldering area before giving them different colours to use
