Bike 9km + 340m, 11km +770m, bike 9km + 90m. Glen Carron.
Craig car park (09.10), rode and pushed the bike up the steep sections to the col before continuing mainly downhill to the wood at GR101471 (10.20). Cut across to An Crom-allt, and followed it up until I headed to Drochaid Mhuilich (11.25). A good ridge with some snow took me up to Carn nam Fiaclan (12.30), and on over Creag Toll a' Chain to Maoile Lunndaidh (12.50). Followed the broad north-west ridge down to the Allt an Fhurr-thuill Mhòr wich I followed until I cut across to Glenuaig Lodge for a look at the shelter. Stopped for a chat with a couple of guys on the Cape Wrath trail before resuming my walk back to the bike at the woods (15.05). Got back to Craig at 15.50.
A generally good day with some squally showers of snow. Great to look across at mountains I had recently been up.
