Parked the Car in Llanberis and caught the bus to Capel Curig for the return hike/run along the ridgeline taking in the peaks of Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr and Y Garn.
the weather was cool with a stiff breeze on the high ground with the cloud base just above the peaks, occasionally smothering them. Navigation was mostly easy with some care having to be taken in the clouds around Castell y Gwynt and at the summit of Glyder Fawr.
The inital plan was to take in Elidir Fawr before descending back into Llanberis, I decided to cut this peak from the route as my companion and I were definitely feeling tired and we did not fancy the steep technical decent off the back of Elidir Fawr, along with deteriorating weather conditions. we took the line down the valley towards Nant Peris for an easier return along the road to the car. This did turn out to be exceedingly boggy and still quite tough going, but cut more elevation gain and technical rocky ground.
A hugely enjoyable day in the Hills despite the slight disappointment of not fully traversing the range as planned.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
