Description

Solo three-day backpacking expedition,
Day One. starting at Inver Alligin with Judith Bullivant (first hour only), then Coire Mhic Nobuil, Beinn Dearg (Sail Mhor, Ruadh-stac Mor, Spidean Coire nan Clach, Sgurr Ban, Creag Dhubh) to Kinlochewe. Night in hotel.
Day Two Heights of Kinlochewe, Loch an Nid, Achneigie, Shenavall (camp)
Day three Corrie Hallie, Dundonnell House, hill path to Croftown, A 835 in heavy rain. Boot problems and forecast of snow, so hitched to Ullapool, stayed in Youth Hostel and went home.

Area : Cuillin and Torridon (Liathach)

This area is on the west coast of Scotland and its most well-known mountains are probably Beinn Eighe (1010m) and Liathach (1055m). The area is bordered by Loch Maree and the A832 to the north and Glen Carron and the A890 to the south. It should not to be confused with The Cuillin which is on Skye and listed in the Western Isles region. The mountains list contains all peaks above 800m.
