Description

Leading a bunch of girls up Snowdon as part of the "Unbreakables" programme. went up Pyg track and descended Miners Path. No problems going up but a girl slipped and twisted her ankle. After struggling down I saw another woman who had also twisted her ankle and had called Mountain Rescue, so we managed to piggy back onto the recue. It turned out that Mountain rescue had requested a helicopter evacuation so our girl (and teacher) jumped on the helicopter and was took to Bangor hospital.

Area : Snowdon Massif
