Description

This was day 8 of our MCI training and counted as a group adventure day at The Range on Anglesey. During the day as a group of trainees, we set up a twin line Tyrolean across a the gap between two promontories. At both ends, we used a range of equipment to do this and at our end we had the full technical gear, with a Petzl Rig and prussiks to tension the line. We then set up a push-me/pull-you pulley system and each member of the group made their way across.
After this we set up a series of fixed rope courses around one of the mini islands and a couple of small low-tech Tyroleans using Italian hitches and prussiks only.
