Day 1. From Barmouth to track north of Sylfaen Farm SH631184. At SH638200 north to cairn SH638223. Followed ridge to Diffwys. Camp on saddle above Llyn Dulyn at SH665245.
Day 2. To Llyn Hymel. Up Rhinog Fach. Descent down gully and then NNE into woods to Pistyll Gwyn. Up Roman Steps. Brief diversion to Llyn Morwynion then back to Cwm Bychan. Down valley road briefly and camp at SH636327.
Day 3. On bearing to Llyn Eiddew-Mawr. Track to Llyn Eiddew-Bach. Ne to Llyn Dywarchen at SH653348. To Talsamau via Moel-y-geifr on micronav. Clear, sunny weather during the traverse.

The Rhinogydd (a Welsh plural form, often anglicised as Rhinogs and also known by the alternative Welsh plural Rhinogau) are a range of mountains located east of Harlech in North Wales. The name Rhinogydd derives from the names of two of the more famous peaks, Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach, although the greatest elevation in the range is reached by Y Llethr, 756 m.
