Weekend with Newbury Mountain Club, planned the whole weekend including walks, accomodation and group meal.
12 people in the party, 10 of us took part in this walk on the Saturday.
Route chosen due to group size, ability and prevailing weather conditions so decided to stay on paths for the whole of the day.
Visibility patchy whilst on the Kinder Plateau, did a bearing from Kinder Low Plateau back to Noe Stool to be on the safe side. Majority of day was based on map memory.
Weather rain showers with poor visibility at times.

Area : Dark Peak

Is situated between Sheffield and Manchester. The underlying rock is Millstone grit which is often exposed at the edge of the higher peat bogs for which the area is famous.
