Description

With M. Cloud inversion shortly above Cluanie with glorious blue sky above. Quick time to A'Chralaig. Starting to close in as we headed N to Stob Coire A'Chralaig. Then up S ridge of Mullach Froach Coire over & round pinnacles. One steep pinnacle unavoidable so we used rope. After that mostly moving together, but easier. Descent started down NW ridge the steeply down to Coire Odhar. A great day of 7.5hr

Area : Glen Affric and Kintail

South of Loch Mullardoch you will find the Glen Affric and Kintail area whose southern boundary is the A87 road to Inverness. The Five Sisters of Kintail, Beinn Fhada, Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan and Carn Eighe are just some of the impressive peaks in this area, and all have their own unique selling points such as remoteness, size, steepness or height. As a result, peaks in the list are all over 900m.
