Checked weather and avalanche forecast, planned route to Carn Fhreiceadain only hazard would be poor visibility above 600 - 700m.

Underfoot conditions were good for the whole journey with soft snow meaning crampons were not used for the day.
White out conditions encountered 860m on the way to trigpoint, noticed that we were starting to head down the mountain, readjusted to hit the trigpoint where visibility improved and able to pick up track back down.

Spotted red grouse and mountain hare in winter coat.
